Extra tip: Why not use reusable ice cubes? (The ones that are basically plastic with water inside of them) That way theres no danger of water getting into the motor, They wont melt and drop to the bottom of the bottle, and will actually work longer than normal Ice cubes. I'm going to give this a try later!
@Shetasen7 жыл бұрын
You know what else that works, pretty well using this same concept? Take a large juice jug, fill it with water and freeze it. Place the frozen container on top of a crate or a rack with a catch bowl underneath and place a fan behind it and turn it on. The Fan will blow the chilled air around the container towards the person, and as the ice melts in the container the catch bowl will catch the condensation that drips off the bottle which depending on how humid your room is can catch quite a bit of water. Afterwards you can just refreeze the container, and dump out the condense water. It may not cool a whole house but it works well for a small apartment room. It'll cool and dehumidify as well.

To accomplish this, just get a tube and put a hole through the bottle caps. Super glue this tube in the cap. Make sure it is long enough for a window. You may need an additional tube for air circulation to not worry about the water clogging. Though, I doubt it. Should work fine.

It would be better to use a smaller frozen bottle of water inside a bigger empty bottle of water that had the holes, etc. like the ones attached to the fan. First, less leakage from condensation that collects outside the water bottle which drips on the floor. Second, the ice inside the frozen water bottle wouldn't melt as quickly.

1) that's not how an air conditioner works 2) this can possibly make you feel fresh at first but then it will humidify the air and make you sweat even more
@5Siver
6 жыл бұрын
hadron89 you missed the point. Air temperature is one factor that would make you sweat but water saturation of air is also another factor. The more humid is the air the less it can dry your sweat so a hot dry air can make you feel better than a 'cooler' humid air.
@5Siver
6 жыл бұрын
hadron89 you're throwing numbers without any scientific base and then you're answering based on your own rather inaccurate assumptions. I agree that there is a sweet spot where al ittle water to cool down could be better but my point is that this can't be applied blindly because in some cases too much water will be worse eventually.

Sure am glad he showed us what an ice cube looks like repetitively. I was unsure. And boy did he look convincing shivering in front of the ice cube fan! Brrrrrrr...

1) that's not how an air conditioner works 2) this can possibly make you feel fresh at first but then it will humidify the air and make you sweat even more
@5Siver
6 жыл бұрын
hadron89 you missed the point. Air temperature is one factor that would make you sweat but water saturation of air is also another factor. The more humid is the air the less it can dry your sweat so a hot dry air can make you feel better than a 'cooler' humid air.
@5Siver
6 жыл бұрын
hadron89 you're throwing numbers without any scientific base and then you're answering based on your own rather inaccurate assumptions. I agree that there is a sweet spot where al ittle water to cool down could be better but my point is that this can't be applied blindly because in some cases too much water will be worse eventually.

When i was a kid we had a water cooling fan. It didnt blow cod air so we put ice in it. Worked great for summer in Texas. Do what yo can and forget the haters.
dear its too good.. poor people will be benefitted.. u are a star who thought of us ....there are many slum areas where children even dont have anything. but your gadget is really superb.....blesses
best part was when the guy was sitting in front of the fan to check it's working, lol it was like he was sitting on electrical shock chair. 🤯🥶🥵😂🤣😂🤣😂 WTF was that omg

Does this air conditioning method work with the put frozen bottles of water in front of the fan method can you combined both methods
@titirititiri6360
3 жыл бұрын
@@michael-johnbrown1876 ya but where does the frozen bottles come from ? Your freezer, then your freezer will creat more heat to freez more ice, so your not actually cooling anything
Great idea, would need to catch the condensation
Despite feeling hot while watching, I imagined the coldness of it and I actually felt it
Many people have really been benefited for this video.
I can't believe omg wow ,nice one 😂😂😂😂😂

Dampen a towel and put it over your shoulders and stand in front of a fan, helped me when my A/C quit blowing cold air.

This cooler will take me to heaven
It isn’t to cool the room like an ac, but make the air blowing from the fan feel cool rather than warm.
