    I've done this with Tombow's Multi Glue also and they do work beautifully for holding embellishments that are metal and heavier, and paper items as well. I need to make some more and I love how you store them. I hadn't thought of that, so keeping them in card container..baseball card plastic boxes, I mean, and stuck to the cheap sleeves for ATCs or baseball cards. Your way is much better. Thanks for sharing this :)

    I bought some of the "Tack-it" and it works well. I did have a small accident with a book and the dried glue dots, but no damage and great fun? trying to get the dots off and find something to re-stick them too since they wont go back on the non-stick paper.

    I just add enough water to make a thin consistency maybe 3 or 4 to one ratio then I take a sponge brush and brush it on wait a couple of hours till it dries to a tacky feel to it. I found it on you tube years ago try googling it "How to restick your Cricut Mats". It works wonderfully. Another product that works well is Ziz 2 to one in the large applicator bottle I found at Michaels. Because it is temporary bond if you let it dry after application. My daughter told me about the Zig.

    I did a tutorial maybe 2 years ago on using Tack it Over and Over on fabric flowers as an alternative for a pin back. Honestly the flowers are hanging on my mirror to this day...doesn't matter that they are Halloween colors does it? In fact I think one has a felt bat.... hmmmmm maybe time to take those down. Anyhoooo, I never thought of making a faux Gluber with Tack It Over and Over- I just spread it on the back after I made the flowers- I guess I didn't use it at all on a rolled rose at all-great idea.

    Hi again Lindsay... This is a super fun tip ~~ thank you so much for sharing... You can also use a foam sponge brush ~~ and brush the Aleene's Tac it over and over glue on your cricut mat to make it sticky again ~~ only put some washi tape or painters tape all around the edges so that you don't get glue on them...the edges need to be clean to go thru the machine... Do you have any crafting ideas on what to do with the empty toy pods from vending machines... Thank you so much for all your fun ideas... Have a fun Turkey Day and holiday season... Surie

    Would setting out a large blob to dry, then cutting it as if I was cutting brownies in a pan, work for making small squares that functioned as dots? I have the Aileene's but thought I'd ask before I made a bunch of individual dots.

    Doesn't Tack It Over become a repositionable glue when dry? As such I have to ask how well a dry glue dot would work as a permanent adhesive (and why it works).

  • @thefrugalcrafter

    @thefrugalcrafter

    9 жыл бұрын

    Jean M not on paper to paper and it sticks my ribbon down very well. It is always sticky, like a sticker but once you stick it it stays stuck. You can paint it on the back of rubber stamps and then use them on acrylic mounts and the glue will stay on the stamp but other than that I would not call it re-positional, just sticky when dry until you bond it with something.
