Best bender I have seen made on KZread so far!
Ayus! Ang ganda pagka bend sir, thanks for the idea
I don't bend enough plexi to build one,but watching your process was very satisfying.Excellent craftsmanship.Thank-you
Gracias amigo Danielle! Forza Italia!
I like that you put the guide on on side to square up the sheets. All the videos ive seen so far were eye balling it.
Perfection in every step! Great design and execution. Thanks for sharing.
Just wow. You're an artist and your hands are precious tools.
Cannot imagine . You can sell this wonderful product.
Que bueno. Felicidades por tu trabajo, es impresionante. Un saludo.
beautiful craftsmanship :) lovely relaxing video
Can't forget to sign a project! Awesome build, subbed!
Right tool....Right Attitude....Very Systematic and only video I have seen (at least me only) who is putting his country name. Your systematisms makes your country proud. Indian bhai log, jago (Indian fraternity please have a look at)
Quality tools, quality job, quality video and quality content.
Thank you Daniele You are a genius, a project I want, thank you
È sempre una cosa stupenda vedere i tuoi progetti e i tuoi video complimenti
Outstanding design and a quality build. One concern: do routers spin counterclockwise in Italy? Climb cut for dado could be a bit problematic with router spinning clockwise.
Elegant build. I wouldn't change a thing. The lack of insulation at the ends of the heater strip aren't an issue, as both ends would have to short at the same time for that to cause a problem, and the only problem would be that the current would flow through the aluminum channel rather than the nichrome wire. No damage to the power supply and the overall power output and heat would actually go down, not up. Harmless at 9v with a constant current supply.
VERY clever! Well thought out and constructed beautifully!! Beats me using a hot air gun to soften the persplex/polycarb in a jig
This set of tools is good enough to build a small rocketship :) Seriously, I made a device like this a few yers ago. It wasn't that sophisticated but did the job. I used modified PC power supply as current source. Attention those who are going to repeat the design from this video -- make sure there is at least one gap betwen hollow profile and aluminum parts tht hold wire ends so this profile doesn't short the wire.
Veramente professionali i tuoi video. Complimenti
Bravissimo come sempre, MAESTRO DANIELE
I know i will never make it.. But I loved watching this.. such nice precision.
After watching it many times, I was able to make it. Thank you friend
Godlike. Your hands are gold. Thank you for your idea.
Awesome build, great ideas & initiative, really like how you've made this, and your video filming, wow,.. it is outstanding ! instantly subscribed , Thank you
working super clean . i enjoyed watching your video . keep going
That is one of the best live ever seen.👍
So many great ideas, thank-you for publishing!
Such awesome tool for DIY people. I think a pretty wood handle and a some measuring tools screwed on, would make it perfect.
You could use a protractor to bend it at any angle ! Well done

One of the best bending device I've seen on KZread. Great job Daniele. Your audience is now quite international.... The Made in Italy logo and your brand name are "the cherry on the pie". :-)

Estupendo!!!! Cuanta prolijidad!!!
Curious how much space you had between mounting post metal and bending bar. Looks almost like it might short out. Awesome build man. Liked and subscribed!
Wow,your work is so beautiful
When the thickness of the acrylplate is changing, don´t you have to change the distance of the 2 screws with the "holding-alu-4square-rod" to the hot wire, because the radius is also changing?
Nobody seemed to mention that this design while elegant cannot easily bend acute angles tighter than 90 degrees.....the hold bar could be a dull knife edge style in my opinion and the hinges set appropriately to achieve acute angles. Great build as others have said, just bought the wire to build one myself but with the above mentioned modifications.

Yes, and a different fasten mechanism for the hold bar. Not so protruding even less handy
Your very good at spotting holes!
Bravisimo, WOW! too good to be a homemade project.
Cool build. You should add a 45 deg stop on the hold down or the bending handle would give it more functionality. Maybe just and insert with 2 deg 22.5 and 45
Wonderful and informative video - easily the best heat bender I have seen on KZread. One suggestion: the current for the heater wire flows through the springs meant to keep it under tension. The heating and cooling cycles may over time anneal the springs and cause the heater wire to become slack (see How To Mechatronics/Arduino CNC Hot Wire cutter video). I would try to use some kind of crimp or screw connection of the power wires to the heating element, just where the wire attaches to the spring. Some kind of thermal insulator (perhaps a collection of mica or ceramic washers) could also be used to thermally isolate the heater wire from the springs. Obviously, a slack wire inside the aluminum channel would not be as big a deal as a loose hot wire cutter; but if it sagged enough to touch the channel it could short out sections of the heater wire resulting in “cold” spots. Just a friendly suggestion for an otherwise fantastic build.

i followed a different guy's vid. this one has a hold down which is better. You are right in that the current doesn't need to go thru the springs. they just keep tension on the wire as it expands

@@r.t.elangovanr.t.elangovan6792 How thick of acrylic can you bend with this gauge wire, Will it soften 8mm?
@DiegoSynth
Yes, that exactly. Plus it may make super hot the springs, nut, screw, etc, not only meaning expansion / contraction of the materials but very high temperature in case of accidental touch. I was surprised all this part is not insulated / enclosed. Leaving that out, it's a great idea and fantastic execution!

Blessings to you I see you commented on acrylic bending machine . Was curious to know if you could give me some feedback in reference to this We want to create an acrylic wall bending machine. Our Acrylic sheets are 97 inches long and 40 inches wide with a .110 diameter in thickness. We want a 2 inch lip making the wall 38 inches with a 90 degree angle. What are your suggestions? Or could you create it?
Excellent job! ~ Eccellente, mi è piaciuto vederti costruire!
Good job. Really well executed little thing 👍👍
Simply brilliant!!!
Sangat Menginspirasi Sekali... 👍👍
Grande progetto, realizzato in modo esemplare!!!
Maybe it would be nice to mount a protractor aside to bend it at different angles. Great job.
I Am Big Fan Bro Your Content And Your Setup I Love This
Good build. I thought for sure you just happen to have ome springs that would hold the bar inplace so you wouldnt have to loosen and tighten the wing nuts once you placed your plastic under it and snugged it a bit.
That intro is one of the best I've ever seen 😍

Bravo Daniele. +1 like e +1 sub
Excelente trabalho, parabéns, poderia dar as dimensões do projecto? Ficaria muito grato. Continue com o excelente trabalho.
It seems you and your power supply are not afraid of short circuit) Probably it would be better to add some isolation between aluminum angles that hold the springs and aluminum profile between them;) Anyway, the construction looks pretty good. Great relaxing video, as always, thanks for the content))

just yesterday thinking how to make one of this xD amazing :D
Fortissimo ! Progetto bomba complimenti
Sei sempre geniale ;-)
Nice project! I suggest you to put some protractor beside in your lever so that you can bend acrylic depends on your desire angle.
Great Stuff, very nice and well done craftmanship I was going to build one myself, now I have a very good example, thanks!

Excellent Video and really clear and crispy of each and every element presented in your demonstration. Just would like to know how much Wire Gauze used AWG. Please specify.
I liked the quality work 👍🏿
Che bel lavoro!
Excellent perfection..!!
Looks very professional.
I recommend using 'seconds' or 'minutes' rather than ' " ' or ' ' '. It is technically correct but not in common usage in the USA. Great video. Liked.
Espectacular ! qué prolijidad !
nice job. respect from Algeria.
A+ 10/10 i have always used a heat gun and never get consistent bends

You do high bluid quality, very satisfy and clean looking.
Spettacolo!!!!
nice job sir excellent job as always
Grande Daniele!!!!!!
Veramente eccezionale 👍🏻
progetto molto ben fatto e descritto.
Fantastic! I really like your video. I enjoyed watching it until the end. Thank you for sharing my friend Liked and Subscribed .😄👍💕
One of the best acrylic bending machine that i found. What is the maximum thick of acrylic could be bend using the 0,8mm nickel wire ?
Beautifully made. Now how to add an option to easily and accurately do angles other than 90 degrees? (There are a few, I'm just thinking about something that's in keeping with this design, rather than a bodge)
