Thought I’d leave a comment as I bought a kit and completed 5 screens with it. The instructions here and from others enabled my wife and I to complete our DIY replacement. I will have others to do as we complete renovations. Thanks!

I was looking for a good " DIY how to video" but $16 a screen! Well worth it. You;ve got my business. I will get measurements straight from my remaining screens and place an order soon.

Took my screen frame into our local hardware and asked if they did screen-work. Yes - they did at $25 a screen!! I did not have a clue about re-screening - but after consulting the great Oracle (KZread), I was able to fix my screen w/o any trouble!! Thank you KZread Friend for sharing!!!!

wow I definitely will be purchasing some of these materials. I am having some windows replaced, and asked about custom screens for super old custom sized windows. They said, "Sorry, but maybe you can build your own." Well now I can!

Thank you so much for this video. Very helpful. The only hard part was getting the frames the right size. I ended up cutting the height pieces 5 times until finally it went in. Overall 3 hours for that and the rest took just 10 minutes lol. :) Now, should be easier for me on the next one.

Cool & right right. Well, I've since encountered problems with some of the screens getting blown off my house. That's been another real pain, even after adding one nail at the top to hold them in. Oh well and I'll figure something out in due time.

Great video! Im rushing to Home Depot as soon as I wake up and get me some screens materials! I bought a new house recently and have contacted a guy who makes them and has a small business. He barely replied my text messages and never wrote back to coordinate a visit and give me estimates. Screw him, I'll make my own now!

Hello Sergio, You would have to use something called a screen frame bender to get an arched side. Please see below; www.metroscreenworks.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=41_69&products_id=379
