Please I'd like to ask a question....I watched all your previous videos and I was inspired to make a smoked gown but not like the one you posted I was thinking of making only the waist part smoked and I don't know how to go about it I'd be so happy if you can respond Thank you for your time❤️

It really doesn’t need a back slit, but if you want one, you should consider the length of the slit when you ruch the skirt and it becomes shorter.

Then you’ll sew the allowance on the inside like you’re making a normal skirt and use it to make the channel for the straps on the inside too.
