How To Make A Terrarium Without Spending Any Money
I set myself the challenge of making a terrarium without spending any money and I'm so pleased with how it turned out! Dog violets and Ivy leaved toadflax grow everywhere and are often sprayed by local councils which is a massive shame... Let's add them to our little ecosystems!

Building terrariums from local sources is always amazing. Suddenly it's not just a forest with a pile of leaves or a dirty wall, but an insane amount of possibilities. Such high biodiversity if you just look closely and your native plants can just look so beautiful...

Love this outdoor build so much! I definitely didn't need any more hobbies, but i started making mini terrariums 6 months ago inspired by your Instagram and now i have a whole shelf dedicated to terrariums with a grow light 🤦🏻‍♀️ They bring me a lot of peace though. It is also so nice finding someone to recommend plants and resources in the UK so I have a chance of getting/locating them 😊

Thank you for making this video, i took the inspiration today and went for a walk in my neighbourhood in Sweden. I am moving away soon and this will become my sentimental items forward from this time in my life. After some research i gave Veronica hederifolia and Viola reichenbachiana a try as the flower part of the terrarium. Thanks again! 🤗

Not positive but they need to be in indirect sun light or led lighting, watered (misted) when the soil looks dry, they can last long enough to outlive generations it just depends.

Damn, dude. Where do you live? That forest/woods is gorgeous. I really appreciate this video. Not only is the scenery gorgeous, but you taught me something I've been confused about for a long time; which is cutting the roots on the plants to make them fit. I always assumed if I cut any of the taproot, I'd kill the plant. Your explanation that the feeder roots will grow out is a revelation! Thank you SO much! (PS I'm in the states, so send me some of those fish and chips!)

Have you ever grown a pine tree in a terrarium before. I wonder if you plucked a small one from the ground or if you grew it from seed. I am in America, the mid-west and we have most kinds of pine around here. I tried some Aleppo pine seeds my daughter brought back from France but they wont germinate. I'd really like to try and plant a few in a tall terrarium and perhaps combine terrarium and bonsai.
