I have a well, and my water is high Ph, of usually 8.4. I think it is probably hard too. Would the subwassertang live and thrive in those conditions? Thanks for the video. NoPlanaria works but you have to remove as much of the snails as possible by hand first ,because if you dont they will die and pollute your tank ..which might kill your shrimp.

Hello Mark.... I'm new to your channel and just found this video. I found it extremely cool. I do have a question though.... Are those round "bushes" in the tank where you placed the ropes. the same plant that you used in the video? I'm not going to try and type it, let alone pronounce it.... LOL... If not, what are they? Thanks in advance for your time....

I used Safeguard (dewormer for dogs). Others have used Panacur liquid form. The one I bought is in powder form. It's main ingredient is fenbendazole. I used a pinch and ground it in water more as it doesn't dissolve properly. I dosed my 10g shrimp tank to kill hydra and planaria. It's been a week and haven't seen any signs of hydra nor planaria. Shrimp and snails are ok. Here's the article about it. All credit goes to the poster. I hope posting link here is fine? Iwww.aquaticplantcentral.com/forumapc/library/52784-planaria-hydra-elimination-shrimp-tanks.html I didn't do water change until 3 days after I dosed my tank. No death that I know of except hydra and planaria. :D

You can remove them with a dewormer that has fenbendazol in it , I dont bother about them though but if I did I would use NoPlanaria :)
