    Perfect! Thanks for the video, saves me $100. I knew there had to be a method for corner bracing and gate bracing without spending $25 per corner on those wedge locks. Plus your method saves me two t posts per corner vs that other method as well. I'm using what was left here at this abandoned house when we showed up and took over. 20 t posts and a pile of heavy gauge 16' wire fence panels. Have to do a temp fence around the pad where the hydroponics house goes. This will help me keep the cows out, were on an open range and it will be some time before I can completely fence off the entire two acres.👍🏼

  • @thejungleexplorer

    @thejungleexplorer

    2 ай бұрын

    Hi. Yes, I can help you. The word I was saying was "Bailing" which is really just a slang term for the wire I was using. The real name is Rebar Tie Wire, and you can find it at pretty much any hardware store that sells rebar and concrete tools. Here is a link to a page on Amazon where you can buy it, but it is much cheaper to buy it in a store. AD amzn.to/4d91Kkq

    I cut a notch in the vertical upright with a 4 inch grinder and stuck the top of the brace in the notch then coated the joint with redguard.

    If you pause the video at 5:15 you can see that he reinforced the gate post by the same method, as well as installing a header board across the top to keep the post at an equal distance from each other.
