You can just cover the fingerprint sensor by using a case or something like that......... problem solved

@@RamA-rf5rv that sensor is ultra cheap,and also if you it it with a case means also there can be a kind of vapour of the cold rain water. If it is there you have to remove the case and wipe it. Also what will you do if your hand is cut? if key is lost we can get one new...but you can never get a new finger. Any one who can get touch with arduino can decode it. {so the ideal solution from me is use a cheap waterproof fingerprint scanner or a unltrasonic finger print scanner}..........problem solved

I'd have a key override under the same cover in case of electronics failure. Have you tested the accuracy of the fingerprint reader? any false positives from other fingers / peoples fingers?

where is the + & - control to the motorcycle

I just used a two channel wireless receiver with it's remote. One button to put the bike in contact and the other to start it. Same prize or cheaper, plus no soldering, plus now I have remote start. I left the original ignition connected as a backup, because I rely in physical and situational security anyways. Nice project tho, the fingerprint ignition is definitely cooler 😎👌.

To tackle that situation, proper packaging of the system can be done. And it can be placed under some secure locations like under the fuel tank. And somewhere like that. In reality nothing can actually stop a thief from stealing a motorcycle if the determination level is that high 😊. 🏍️☓

1st you need to know what each component does before starting.(each & everyone) 2nd If you have any basic knowledge in any type of programming (java, c, c++, python) you can do the Arduino programming too. (only few codes differ & you can also refer to multiple videos on KZread for Arduino programming) 3rd Use your knowledge to create tons of projects. 4th profit?

That's why the most "reliable" security (if they really want it they'll get it no matter what you do) is physical: disc locks, chains, U locks, etc. Plus avoiding dangerous places. The best is a combination of various types. In mine I have a GPS tracker, alarm with engine immobilizer, keyless remote start and disc lock plus chain. Insurance is good but I believe it depends on your income and the value of the bike itself. I choosed not to use it as I can just buy a new one with my savings plus all the money I didn't have to pay them along past years. It's only good if your bike is very expensive and/or you consider that there's a high probability that something might happen.
