Genial!!! Siempre había querido hacer esos nudos pero no sabía y en este vídeo lo explicas muy claro, muchas gracias :)
Hello Tim, I really like the double strand feature of this sliding knot bracelet. I found an easy way to figure out how to get the two knots close together to fit your wrist. Take a spare piece of paracord, wrap it around your wrist, adjust to your desired fit, measure, then divide that length in half. After you make the second knot on the sliding bracelet, don't burn the end yet. Flatten the bracelet in half so that the two knots are close to each other. Measure the length of the flattened bracelet, excluding the knots. This measurement should be close to the first measurement. Try the bracelet on your wrist, adjust the second knot to fit, then burn the end. This is a great way to use up all those spare pieces of paracord. Thanks again.

Hi, how do you calculate how much cord to use? Is it a certain amount per inch?
@TheWeaversofEternity

It depends on what pattern/weave. There isn't really a universal rule for all bracelets.
I made a figure 8/ diamond knot.

How big does the hole need to be for the bead or embellishment?
@TheWeaversofEternity

I'd say at least 4-5 mm in diameter.

+Carmen Lee You can find them at any hardware store. Ask for brass hexnuts.
At 3:01 in the video you make a comment stating "This is gonna be your size". Is the size I choose here going to be the fully extended size, or the size when it is as small as possible?
@TheWeaversofEternity

That's going to be the size when it's smaller.

It is called paracord.
Hey, silly question again...what did you use to polish the nuts?
@TheWeaversofEternity

I used increasingly finer grits of sand paper. From 800, 1000, 2000, and then on to a leather strop. You don't have to go that far, but it will make a difference in the end product.

what is the use of hex nuts?
@TheWeaversofEternity
8 жыл бұрын
+Albert Tolentino On this bracelet, decoration. But hex nuts have a lot of other uses.
got a problem on how I'm gonna fit the bracelet on my wrist with a perfect and centered sliding knot :3
@TheWeaversofEternity
8 жыл бұрын
I had to play around with the length of mine quite a bit you can always start with a longer piece of cord and cut it after youve made it centered.
Good tutorial! The only problem that I have with it is the adjustable part, its really tedious to try and tighten, any pointers on how to tighten it easily?

use 2 vices for each end of cord, then you just shake your wrist around and it will tighten the slack :)
