The coil make electromagnet field in both side , but you need to push the bullet in one direction so yo need to turn off the coil in the moment the bullet in the middle of the coil , good luck❤

@@ankitkumarjain8896 a capacitor is a device that stores energy when charged and it discharges the moment its in a complete circuit again (aka the button is pressed). the amount of μF (in this case 15000) determines the capacity of the capacitor, higher values typically means slower output though. the one used in the video isnt optimal but it works as you can see. lower value, higher voltage capacitor would improve the velocity and force of the projectile

Certa vez eu estava testando um pistão de Válvulas Solenoide num laboratório e o embolo da válvulas atingiu e perfurou uma parede proxina à bancada de teste. Existem varias coisas nesse projeto que impedem dele ser usado como um dispositivo que transforma energia elétrica em energia cinética no projétil. Um deles é que teriamos que usar aço silício para aumentar a força induzida pela bobina, além de fazer um corte longitudinal no projetil para evitar que ocorra o fenômeno da corrente parasita de Focaut que ao invés de fazer a propulsão cinética do projetil, transforma a maior da energia elétrica em calor devido a resistência interna à passagem da corrente no campo magnético. Se melhorar vira uma arma muito perigosa ... cuidado.

that's harder since optical sensors are required to make it work, I recommend a much larger coil and a higher power capacitor.

Если говорить о магии - проводил эксперимент с круглым мини магнитом, поместил в стальную проволоку, так он сразу не падал, а постепенно спускался вращаясь, а если на пути был магнит стороной такой же полярности, он останавливался.

Насколько помню для гауссгана катушка рекомендуется -толщина 3*диаметр ствола, длинна 2*диаметр ствола.

Есть специальна программа для расчета солиноида для Гаусс Гана ! Забиваешь параметры ствола , диаметор , длину и вес пули , ёмкость конденсаторов итд ... Программа долго счетает потом выдает все данные , сколько метров провода , какое получится сопротивление солиноида итд . Программа Femm С ее помощью собирал многоступ , в этой программе есть начальное скорость пули вхождения в соленоид ,по этому можно каждую ступень просчитать , по итогу получается все довольно точно . Рекомендую если кто-то хочет сделать пыщь 😄

It doesn’t come out very fast. But the sharp tip could injure the eye so that’s a risk. Also 50 volts can be enough to shock you in the wrong situation.

@@AlexeySivokhin смотря какие токи, допустим напряжение на кондере 300,сопротивление катушки 1 ом, ток вначале будет 300а, но очень кратковременный, формула разряда кондера T=3RC

@@rushol77 из-за того, что катушка имеет индуктивность, в первый момент ток вообще будет нулевым. Но если сопротивление кнопки не мало, то бОльшая часть энергии, накпленная в конденсаторе, выделится на ней в короткое время, и проводники в ней попросту испарятся. В нормальных схемах разряд таких цепей контролируется не контактами, а специальными разрядниками или электронными приборами- тиристорами, транзисторами, способными окрываться быстро и без дребезга контактов.Но тут лишь демонстрация на предельно низкой энергии для подобных устройств, а поэтому- сойдёт и кнопка!

It's a coil gun since it uses coils (electromagnetic accelerator) a rail gun uses 2 rails and basically makes a short circuit between the projectile and the 2 rails inducing eddy currents propelinit forward
