This ornament is so easy to make, and there is no sewing required, basically, cut your fabric, press your seams, and fold your shape. Thanks for checking it out and make sure to subscribe for future projects.

Thank you, great instructions, you were the first one who completed the entire star. Everybody else only did part.
Great job explaining. So patient too!!
Saw these sometime ago on KZread and have wanted to do some. Today I had the time to start watching your video. Using scrap fabric (trial) I made one and I love it. Thank you for the very clear video and verbal instructions.
Awesome video! Made one this morning love it! I also made a smaller one and cut the strips 3 inches wide and 12 inches long!
This is the best tutorial I’ve seen on these ornaments! Thank you!
Thank you! Going step by step all the way helped me.
I just recently heard of these. I haven't tried it yet, but your tutorial seems very easy to follow. I'm sure I'll mess up a few times but I'll get it right eventually.
On the last one I made, I put the hanger at the point of the inner square so that the center is a diamond shape instead of a square. It's just a bit different, but I like the variety. This is a really good tutorial, by the way, because you mention the places where you shouldn't tuck the ends. "You don't have a place to tuck." No other tutorial mentioned that, so I always wondered. Thank you!
This is the best tutorial , Thank you !
love the tweezer trick! thanks:)
Thanks for making it look easy.
Wow it took a few times but I made it !!!! Thank you I just love making them. Look out friends and family you will be getting this for Christmas! Lol

beautiful
I cut the end before l did the tucking. I used my embroidery scissors to tuck the end. Works just the same!
This is the best tutorial of this project I’ve seen... thank you. I might make a few and put them away for Christmas next year. 👍🎄🇦🇺

This is very helpful. Thank you!
Best tutorial I have seen. Love how you describe out to form the interlocking square. I was having trouble understanding it on other videos I watched. Thanks!
Thanks!
Would this work using ribbon instead of fabric?
Supppper danke
I found this easier to follow than any other instructional videos, and actually made one! Not perfect but very nice. I think they are quite bulky. Is this usual?

They are a little thick but not to much.

Mine is pretty bulky!
If you could redo this with the camera behind you that would be so helpful. For your viewer it is upside down.

Yup. Intro is too long and doesn't suit the video.

I think it was a fabulous video, just follow along with him .
Question: If they all have to be snipped 2" why isn't the starting pattern 2" shorter? Wonders a person who hasn't yet made one.
Great video but it’s a little blurry 😵💫
Using tweezers makes it so much easier! Thank you!
So much of your tutorial was off camera and I couldn't see what to do.
I can't work out which "leg" to use to make the first "dog ear"

One of them that doesn’t have anywhere to tuck into, so after you fold it and flip it over it has the place to tuck it into.

@@stitchwithrick1095 THANKS - not sure how but now I have ended up finishing my star. by talking to myself: Top Left leg > triangle down to the outside > flip & "twin triangle down> fold back so one triangle sits on top of the other> tweezer the double tail through pocket below to lock (trim tail if necessary)
You need to warn not to use fabric that has metallic sparkles in it as it makes fabric too thick to make nice points. Work on your sharp focus of the camera work. You have the best explanation I could find to make these.
You need to adjust your focus on your camera
Stop saying "okay".
