    You can always tell a Master Teacher. He explains something very complicated and you say "Oh, anyone could do that." And this is true, but not "one in a thousand" could teach it so that you say that!

    Hi. Excellent lessons. You are reserved but very good at getting point across. Do you ever Carve out the channel by hand? I’ve searched far and wide and I see most of the time they Are using routers. But, I carved the hole by hand because I have an oval hole. I could use router for purfling channels But oval router jig is too big. I’ll lay down he profile by hand,, jut got to nice and slow. Thank you again for all you wonderful information. Deliver is spot on!

    Awesome video as always! Would you say each log does one rosette, or does it make enough tiles to do multiple? Also, are these tiles small enough to where they don't need to be tapered to fit seamlessly around the rosette?

    Hi, one log of about 200 mm long will give you enough tiles to do one rosette. If the tile is only about 3 mm or so then you would be ok without tapering the edges but anything bigger you need to check but you probably would need to do some fine fitting. Just in case you are interested I have a complete course available on www.onlineguitarmakingcourse.com

    Hi PabloRequena. Very interesting video, and well explained. But can you tell us what is your method to sand the strips from 1.8/1.9 mm to 0.5mm? I think you use a drum sander but can you explain us your jig to hold the strip in the sander? Thanks Best regards!

    Hi pablo, do you find it best to always add at least 1 single veneer strip between rows of tiles? Eg you have a rope then a white square with red diamond then another rope. So would you add a single .5 black between the rope and white square tiles or does it all fit together ok without a black .5 ?

    muchas gracias maestro! una pregunta donde se pueden conseguir diseños para este tipo de punto de cruz?

  • @redkitekk

    @redkitekk

    3 жыл бұрын

    En ningún sitio que yo sepa, el diseño tienes que sacarlo tú de igual forma a cómo yo lo enseño aquí. Otra opinión es buscar fotos de rosetas en internet y ver diseños de otros guitarreros, este cordón en particular no es diseño mío, esto lo ha hecho muchísima gente. Por cierto, por si te interesa, tengo un curso completo de construcción de guitarra en www.onlineguitarmakingcourse.com

    Cant understand anything of the progress at all. This was really messy. How in hell can it only be 23 black and 12 white? Strange. There are plenty of black squares in the diagram, 43 it is.

    Actually 63 in total. But as explained, you don't count the repeated ones. You assemble tge pattern out of streaks later, matching the diagram
