Great DIY Video as always. Very inspiring! The people at HORL should also make a smaller version optimized for SAKs and sell it together with you as „Felix Immler Edition“ 😊

You my friend are the Victorinox Beast!!!!! This company should hire someone like you for the creativity. The Victorinox Beast Cronicles. Thank you Felix.
Felix, you are wonderful. Well done. Respect.
The roll sharpener was great but what really made me go "Whoa!" was the tiny 'bushcraft' BuckHackSaw. I must make one of those. Thanks Felix 🖖
Absolutely brilliant!

You never cease to amaze me Felix. Thank you once again for your wonderful ideas. Using your system, I will use 800 and 1200 grit sandpaper to maybe get a sharper edge. Keep those videos coming, I learned so much from you.👍👍

Very nice! As always, an excellent video. Thank you!
I have a Parkside (Lidl) disk sander too, I've been using it for over 4 years now. It's been a great buy for me.
That was really interesting. Thanks!
Awesome Felix¡ Thanks. I am designing a similar one, but with a thinner middle pipe, only the edges thicker.
Fantastic video as ever Felix. You truly are the King of the SAK world!!!

This is totally new to me. I like the idea of always having the right cut angle. I use a bucher rod but I'm never quit sure if my angle is ok. Thanks Felix for another very interesting video and take care.
Nice sharpener and nice DIY build! In general, any guide that maintains consistent angle and eliminates the human “wobble factor” is good. This sharpener looks very handy and easy for anyone to use.👍
Thanks Felix
Excellent idea and it worked very well, my friend! Thanks so much for showing this inexpensive way to make your own!

Thanks a lot Dominic. can you send me a pm with your 3d printing idea?
I made the same thing a couple of years ago. At 4:43, what I did was insert - what I call the barrel - into my drill press and hold some fine sandpaper against the barrel to smooth down the sides. You've got a great idea Mr. Immler. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you.
thanks felix ! Your tool is very useful..

Thank you so much for this compliment!
Excellent work Felix. I usually hand sharpen my victorinox using a CC4 hand held stone. It works great and puts a very sharp edge on the tool. I tend to finnish on a leather belt thats impregnated with compound. The knife becomes shaving sharp each time. The problem with this method is that it takes the angle down slightly each time you sharpen so eventually the knife does not become sharp anymore because the angle gets too wide. You then have to reset the angle. A tool like the one you built would be excellent for that purpose.
You sir never cease to amaze. This looks perfect. What a simple solution for swiss army knives, and how easy to customize with an even finer grit head!

Thanks a lot dear Steve!
This is a very interesting project. Never thought this was possible. I started collecting kitchen knives and was forced to learn how to sharpen them. Rechecked my victorinox and resharpen them. I use a 600 grit DMT plate and I find that I only need 1 pass to create a burr. Just honed them on a padreno rod then strop them on my belt 😂. Learning about steel and rockwell scale I learned that pocket knives are softer especially compared to japanese steel . Good thing I only collect them so need not sharpen them regularly. I started with German Knives and they serve me well. Rocking a wusthof classic and zwilling pro knives now. Back home in my country I saw a group selling used or previously owned japanese knives that are very very affordable so planning to add them soon as well on my future collection. Nonetheless victorinox swiss knives were my first collections together with Leatherman , sperdco and few opinels. The SAKs abd the PM2 are a breeze to resharpen. By the way, I was lured to knive collection turned hobby because of someone named Felix.😅
Well worth the wait, brilliant content as ever

Hello Tony!! Thanks a lot my friend!
Tolle Idee!
Danke Felix
