If you haven't heard it lately Thanks for your true artasiai skill sets and your easily transferable information. I've worked in the metal trades most of my life . After a catastrophic injury bed ridden for 7 years and told id never walk again fortunately Im able for the most part to walk While I was stuck in a bed for 7 years I started making jewelry ect I did ok sold a few pieces until I umm Died ? Three times ended up on a ventilator having to Learn everything again But the worse part all my tools some very old were stolen as many of my possessions .But Im not a quitter nor will I ever be So back to my appreciation of your channel I've have had the pleasure of learning from you . May I say your a very skilled artisan as well as a Teacher and having learned from other metal artisans { workers} Thanks for the effort to show your talented skills Hopefully someday ill be able to enjoy the skill set as I only worked in detail { small work} for a few years

really nice crafts, can you tell the names or the brands of the tools you use the most? I wanna get into amateur handmade jewelry (certainly not with gold or silver, but brass or zinc as I don't have the funds for precious metal and gemstones) but all I know is how to use the said tools through youtube videos and I don't even own any of the said tools

I've a question, can you work brass as you would gold or silver? I've just started learning and the cost to learn with brass is obviously a lot cheaper if you can. Thank you

Absolutely! There's a few differences to keep in mind, though. Brass likes to get a thin coating of copper after heating, so you'll need a special pickling solution to get rid of that without needing to polish it off. And remember to anneal after it gets work hardened.
