making gold mokume gane - handmade gold jewelry
in this video I will make a mokume gane ring,, mokume gane is a ring made from a combination of various metals with various colors, the combination produces a unique pattern, the technique for making mokume gane is very difficult, it takes dozens of tries to make it perfect, , in this project there are 3 color patterns namely yellow, rosegold and white,, for the yellow color I use 22k gold (91.6%), 12K rosegold gold (50%) and 9K white gold (37.5%), for the pattern my mokume gane uses yellow gold and rosegold gold while white gold is for the inside ring... I'm trying to make this ring with the simple tools I have... for questions about the tools and materials I use, please write a comment below, share this video if you like it, thanks you so much for watching

I just learned gold smithing with the intent to make my own jewelry, you almost make it seem easy when in reality, what you're doing is extremely complex. If it was any sort of easy or straightforward, you'd see many more people doing it. Thanks for sharing instead of hoarding the knowledge.
I absolutely want that for my future wedding rings, they're very beautiful! ❤️
Oryginalna piękna praca. Mistrz! 👋🇵🇱
Espetacular. Tanto a técnica como o trabalho. Parabéns
I would love to have this skill. Probably 15 years ago my "sculpture" class in highschool got a grant from the school to make silver rings (there were only 5 kids in the class) and oh wow did I make a gaudy mess of a thing. Still it was a great experience. I wish someone had told me to keep practicing Gorgeous work, as always.❤
First time I had come to learn about this technique that is just amazing!! love it....perfect for a wedding ring set since bride and groom may have same rings but different detailed design...
Spettacolari!! Bravissimo!
Just when I think I’ve seen it all You come And Blow my mind Again ❣️ WOW💙 Speechless….

Interesting skill

😘💕🔥
Thank you for getting the name of this technique right. I couldn't stand those idiots on you tube calling this Damascus steel. Damascus steel is formed from a natural occurring vanidium alloy iron ore using standard sword forging methods. The source of this ore was finally mined out and that was how the technique was "lost".
11:09 - Cue the ever infamous music 👍
Это божественно!!!

👍👍👍👍🌹
you can sweat-solder the pieces together without solder
Thanks for showing, do you have to heat up the silver before you flatten it in the mill?
Still wanna have one of your creation ❤
Bellissimo
I have that scale too, its fine for weighing big-small things but for things like gold I dont trust it and use a microgram scale, recommend you get one esp if you ever wanna make smaller combinations of alloys. like a 0.5 gram alloy, shakudo pearls for example. that scale is useless for that.
You started with high quality gold. Then you mixed it. I was devistated but once I saw you made gold Damascus and a perfect product. My respect is here with you 👍🙏👏
Какую кислоту Вы используете для отбела золота в горячей ванне?
Were those pieces of paper in your graphite mold?
How you make the patern outstanding in the last part ? What tools ?
A small challenge could you make jailer movie locket
💪
In what order did he but those plates in 4:33 ? Was it all yellow the red it didntbshow or was it red yelled yellow red white. Finish product is awesome
I want one like this 😢
✌
I want to know how many times it's annealed between the press and the drilling and hammering.... etc
✌️
Very..very.. beautiful.. a little to much trouble to make.
Do you see the video where the person called The Q makes a ring? You should show how its done properly
How many times did you have to anneal that piece of gold to get it flat in the beginning? Also how many times can you roll it thru the press until you see cracks?
Very cool. To market this product, how much would you sell for? Thanks.
Hello. Very interesting. I have a little question, what were you doing at this time? 12:53 🙂

Looks like sand/media blasting to take the shine down to better show the swirls. If you look at the ring just before it's very hard to see the colours compared to the final reveal its more a satin finish. I'm more shocked he's not using gloves, that stuff can hurt on bare skin.
This ring is sooooo beautiful and special thank you so much for make this ring❤please in next video make a Thanos sword in Avengers End Game🗡🔥🩸
If you watch other Videos on youtube on how create mokume gane Rings, you appreciate this video even more. Most of them use more equipment like special clamps and ovens and need much more material just to come up with one Ring
What is the powder your using to melt everything?

Do you have a shop online where you sell your jewelry or take orders for commission?
How do I contact you to make rings for me?
you've lost a good amount of contrast by the end. why didn't you just etch it so you don't lose colour?
👌
Sir ur from? Contact deatiles?
👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Все отлично, но смотреть без музыки, или голоса,который описывал бы происходящее на экране, скучновато!
Amazing
