In this video i show how to make a simple pot stand from household items. This is a good adjustable pot stand for trangia spirit burners or hexamine, esbit blocks even fire gels.

    Great idea! Wire coat hangers would do the job too. For the hinge I might try wrapping tinned copper wire around a dozen times or so with a spot of solder to stop it coming undone. Well done mate.

    great stand paul, i think if you put a third stand on you could fold tind around the legs, which would give you a fixed windshield.

    To keep the legs from tangling when applying the wrap, flip one so they point away from each other.

    If you need longer or thinker Stainless steel I suggest searching for Stainless Steel welding rods on Amazon, eBay or from the hardware store. Its straight stainless steel rods or wire depending on the thickness and length is pretty cheap!

    Maybe add a windscreen ? =) a piece of carbon filt, or fireblanket/glasfibre + some tiny clamps
