@@8SecSleeper The evidence is that I still have my two eyes and all 10 fingers. I've been around power tools and machinery for the last 30 years. These things don't take prisoners. I've witnessed people loosing eyes and fingers because of stupidity and by ignoring basic safety rules. A safety guard on an angle grinder is there for a reason. Show-offs and cocky lads are not welcome in my crew and are dismissed on the spot without any discussions. BECAUSE, I've to explain to relatives and authorities what, why and when. Does this now answers your question?

Would love more ‘how to make’ (dimensions, instructions, etc.) less ‘watch me make,’ but anyone interested could probably reverse engineer it, or any off the shelf notcher. Better than HF for sure.

Мало степеней свободы шпинделя,да и обороты великоваты!но

Good work, but there are 2 things I see that could be improved. Distance between bearings should be increased a bit to make it more stable and distance from the pivot reduced to minimum required. Other than that it's cool. The crown saw was a total wreck after 2 cuts, less speed and pressure recommended on cutting or switch it for an abrasive one. Cheers!

Два прохода- коронку приконьчил.. И только под один диаметр трубы..? Которых я в жизни не видел.. мне иногда за день приходится и с поручнями нержавейка 38мм и 50мм и велосипедную раму фэтбайка надо подсобрать..14мм и 18 и 25 бывает.. нужны в этой направляющей регулировки высоты центров под разные толщины труб..

So close! ALMOST a full build without a lathe. So close!

Not so simple build! Can’t get lathe machine, hand tap and dies set, lack instructions for centering pipe clamps and centering drill! I will just stick to notching template and band saw

You can for 3 - 5k

Functional. The speed is too high and you burn the cutter. An emulsion cooling system would be ideal. That cutter is burnt after 2 cuts...

Good idea. Can be much improved. Needs more efficient cooling and rigid clamping. Speed way too fast.

First off how did you determine the hole saw was centered on your tube holder and #2 what are you going to do with the notched tube if you don't have a welder, glue or bolt it together?

The construction seems to use a lot of unnecessary drilling and tapping. 90 percent of those screws could be eliminated by tacking parts together.

So... something that can be done with a drill press? Making a "DIY" drill press would get the same result and plus some more features...

2 tubes and the crown is dead, it seems bad work.

Poor blade lost its teeth and doesn't know where to go.

Really 10s of thousands of pounds of kit to make something I can buy for 100 pounds?
