Anybody else thing Sam Andrews needs to be recruited for documentary narration? His voice is so calming lol.

The things I just learned in 33 minutes has saved me hours and hours. There's nothing like learning from someone who has great experience matched with the ability to teach. Thank you so much.

Same here. Sam & Hank, are you guys going to do any more of these videos? I could literally watch Sam build holsters and answer Hank's questions all day. My wife probably thinks there is something wrong with me. "Are you watching holster making videos again?! Why can't you just watch porn like other husbands!"

When I saw this video 4 years ago on hank strange channel it’s actually what got me into Leathercraft as a hobby. I don’t make many holsters anymore but still do leather working.

Needle and wax thread and different size needles and that's what I got haha

How does that neetsfoot oil not change the color of the stitches? Is it because of the bonded nylon?

It's a regular xacto knife with a #24 blade

Can't you slow dry them in an oven?

We have in the past. However it does not dry as well.

Sam, do you oil the finished product multiple times to get the dark rich color of the vegetable tanned leather?

Yes 4 -5 coats .
