How To Make a Mother's Day Trug Basket Arrangement
Watch our video to see how to make a pretty floral basket for your Mum for this Mothersday. Mums are special and this pretty floral design will really show her much much you care. We have used a range of flowers to make this nice and floral with a slight garden feel. The wooden flower pick just finishes it off with a highlight and a keepsake. Enjoy and give it a try!

Wet floral foam to fill
New Orleans rose x 3
Snapdragon or Anthirrinum
Spray rose
Freesia
Waxflower
Eucalyptus, salad, leatherleaf fern
Novelty wooden pick to finish

Beautifully done, I'd probably decorate the crate itself. Paint with gesso and then just get a piece of fine grade sandpaper and rub.. Shabby Chic kind of style Lace and a bow tied as a double bow would look stunning. just an idea. :)

rosie9057 yes - this basket was lined with plastic but I like to add another wrap of cellophane so it is more protected from leaks.
How much would a design like this cost? I absolutely love this, so cute!

Emily Anne Souther it’s really hard to give a price as it depends on so many factors - the time of year, the wholesale costs, your marking up policy, and make up charges - as well as how you might position it against current competitors or in a particular market. Roughly though I would suggest £ 30 - £40 as a guide.

These came from Van Vliet or fleurametz - I can’t remember which I’m afraid! It’s a good practical shape and depth 😀🙋🏼♂️
