An absolute knock out! When I thrift, I often find cool leather jackets, but they're BROWN, which is not for me. This video opens up a world of change! I can see taking one of those brown jackets and painting it metallic blue. That would be amazing. Thank you Orly!

Same thing happened to me - I found a PERFECT one that was in a really muddy khaki color that just didn’t flatter me. Now I’m regretting not having bought it! Oh well, next time 😁

I've never had the confidence to paint leather except shoes or small hand bags. That's what I love about Orly is that she gives you the confidence and the techniques to go next level.

Omg this upcycle is so cool 😎 the jacket looks incredible I love the choice of colour too!😍 however as most of my faux leather jacket has peeled in some part of it sadly😭) can you do also do a tutorial on how to upcycle those peeled jackets? I've used this paint on boots. From black to brown and they looked great for YEARS!

I bought my sister a really expensive designer bag. . . From eBay. With all its original paperwork and dust bag. The woman selling it said she was letting it go because it was this really awkward shade of baby pink (literally so weird for an every day office style leather handbag) and I begrudgingly decided I was going to paint it. I used my airbrush but now it’s a gorgeous black bag. The best bit is because it was limited edition it has a really fun printed lining. Business on the outside. Party inside! Took a fair bit of work to get the edges neat etc, but in the end was totally worth it. 100% recommend.

Grieving both mine (left at diff x but last recent as well). Creativity works. I find staying busy and creative works wonders but also its good to leave moments to remember and grieve..and remember and smile. There is one silver lining I found (besides the obvious one) in having a remaining parent..the closeness that you will find in the parent that remains is so strong. May you and your dad be well.

In the description she says it doesn't have to be real leather , but don't use patent leather or vinyl.
