I struggled around for hours to acheive what you managed to explain in less than 10 minutes and thanks to your explanation also managed to get what I wanted done in a much much much shorter time than I did while floundering around for this or that. make sure your data doesn't have any units, excel gets tricked up on things like that

I have a line chart with 4 years of weekly sales data by customer and brand. I have sliders for selections, but cannot get them to work for the year selection. When i add the year, it just shows 52 weeks to deselect. I want to take a specific year out. What is an easy way to remove a year? I have to rt click and remove, then go back and retract it to put back as it was.

If i have several days (5), each day contains several timestamps. I want to create a chart from this data. Firt a would like to create a formula that all timmes btwen 13:00 to 13:30 are counted togheter and all timed betwen 13:30 and 14;00 are counted together , is this ossible?

How do you make x-axis equally spaced?

Once a line graph is fully formed with all elements in place...suppose the X-axis (horizontal) went from 0 to 100%, as is normal as the smallest value is usually plotted at the origin, however, what if you wanted the X-axis values REVERSED so that the origin which originally was 0% would NOW be 100% with the numbers declining from left to right? It seems like this should be an easy option to create but is it?

Ok here is how to make a program to make microsoft graphs: 1st you make it as confusing and convoluted as possible, next you don't use common words like: x & y axis, or range & domain, or independent/dependent etc. Finally you have it not do what you want it to do despite doing everything right... Thank you for the video, it is still appreciated. It's not your fault micrsoft makes crap programs, not entirely anyways, or that they foist their nonsense down our throat and expect us to love it... Thank you still for the video. I couldn't get it to work but thank you.

just switch the columns. But the x axis must be in order.

everytime I put ANY number in the chart it says 100% no matter what. I’m trying to illustrate fluctuations in account values over 20 years with a 50% drop after 2 years. But I can’t show anything but 0 or 100% I don’t get it Why is there even an option for me to put in numbers if all it’s going to do is 0 or 100 mine as well just be a mfing toggle switch, useless

I don't understand why you explain it this way? Why don't you just say to put all the data in first and then choose recommended chart. That will just give you a chart with all the other lines for the graphs without doing the other steps. I was lost for like 3 hours watching your video and then I just did it the straightforward way and it just recommended me the correct chart? I will say that I wouldn't even have known how to do that without watching your video the first place, so thank you.

There are still problems. It changes the axes values. Why something that was simple to do became so complicated is beyond me. It isn't intuitive anymore.
