The Hatherley is a handmade leather watch strap, made by our close friend over at an independent leather workshop in Cheltenham. At WatchGecko we have always wanted to produce a high-quality leather strap with the help of a local workshop, allowing us to get hands-on with the straps during production.
The craftsmen creating the leather watch straps use traditional skills and hand tools, bringing out the quality of craftsmanship of these leather straps. The leather used to create each strap has been sourced from the world-famous Baladassi Carlo tannery in Tuscany, which specialises in 100% pure vegetable-tanned leather produced on shoulders.
The Hatherley handmade leather watch strap is an excellent all-rounder for its timeless style, which works with both casual sports watches and formal dress watches. The contrasting hand-stitched edge uses ivory-coloured thread to complement the rich colour of the leather, enhancing this strap’s appearance.
