In this video I show you how to make a leaning book block.
And like typical Sara, a mistake was made. I do show you the mistake and how you can fix it and not have to remake the block.
This block is for the sew along that Pat Sloan is hosting over on her channel. We are making the library quilt from her book Holiday Hoopla.
I am making some changes to the pattern as I want it bigger and a bit more variety on the quilt. That’s the beauty of quilting, you can always make it your own.
This is a great pattern for using up scraps of fabric.

I am internet to see how your bookcase quilt turns out. I got a great pattern from Crimson Tate for the quilt I did for my sister-in-law in 2019. But I may check out Pat’s book too.
