How to build a Lazy Susan using a bicycle wheel.
I show how to make a lazy Susan using the front wheel off an old broken kids bicycle. The wheel is mounted to a steel base and then it is wrapped in 1/2 inch plywood. The top is also 1/2 inch plywood but i doubled up the edge to make it appear thicker. I made a simple jig to use the router to cut the circular top and then I used a 1/4 inch round over bit to ease the edges. I then put a coat of primer undercoat on and then 2 coats of a suitable finish paint. Its a great DIY project and the whole thing was made from scrap and off cuts I had laying around.
Now to think of something to make with the rest of the bicycle!
Always be careful using tools and machinery!!

Good work! Is there any restriction to the speed at which it turns? It is a bicycle wheel after all and itll work great up until the point where everything comes flying off cause it got spin a little too hard...

Man I love you videos. I hate to be that "commenter" but the moving table saw makes me cringe. I do medical things and the cost to fix one sawed finger would more than cover an expensive cabinet saw. Please be careful.
