Hi! For the base, I simply used concrete cement. For the stem, an ordinary pvc pipe will do.

Hi! Yes it will fray. Organza frays a lot. And the solution for that is to singe the edges. At 4:34, you can see that I am melting the edges of the fabric using a lighter.

The large petals are they one layer of fabric or do you double 2 sheet layer of fabric?

Hi Eloise! Yes, in the video I only use one sheet of fabric. But I just realized that two sheets of fabric per petal will make the flower look better.

The glue is not available here 😩 I use B-6000, is it good enough?

Hi @Fathima Ks! I haven't used B-6000 before. I see other crafters using Uhu glue which is available in Amazon.

Hi, is the wire visible on one side of petal? Like on the side we pastes it?

Yes, it is visible.

I keep a small bowl of cold water near my station and dip my fingers in it before I press the glue on, it still sticks, but it doesn’t burn your fingers then.

For stiffening the fabric, i use cornstarch. But i don't prep my fabrics this way when making giant flowers.
