Hi guys! Here’s a new tutorial!
BASIC LAPEL TUTORIAL (pattern drafting)
In this tutorial, you will learn the basic drafting for Lapel or Notched Collar design.
If you want to design coats, blazers and tailored jackets this Detailed Lapel or Notched Collar tutorial is perfect for you.

Such a great tutorial. Thank you! If I want to make the lapel longer in my design, can I extend the depth and break point and readjust the outer curve without starting over?

Do the front and back slopers you use already have seam allowances on them or do you add them after? Especially in the neckline I got confused

Nope they have no sewing or seam allowances

Can you put the timestamp of that specific part?
Is the collar and the under collar the same thing? It’s just that one goes underneath, right?

Yes, but the collar is bigger by 1/8 of an inch
