I imagine when you make the done piece of your head you can pretty much do any transformers. I'd love to try & do a Starscream helmet

Yeah once I have the dome made, I can build any transformers helmet. The dome piece works great

Thank you! I use plexiglas and reflective window tint. I have a tutorial on my visors here on my KZread channel that you can check out.

Awesome helmet! I'm trying to familiarize myself with the cosplay world and techniques. I have to make a transforming optimus prime for a 4 year this year. I tried cardboard but I wasn't happy with the prototype. The foam look is what I want. Can you explain how you painted the helmet? What products you used. How did you accomplish the sliver and black details? Thank you!

I feel like getting a cheap bike helmet can also help as a base for the rest of the helmet.

I've seen people use bike helmets and hard hats. They seem to work really well, and they would definitely be comfortable

I'm wanting to do a custom Armada Optimus, about how long do you think that would take if it were the only thing I worked on? I'm debating whether I can make it myself or if I should pay someone to do it for me

Any way we could get a tutorial on how you make the rest of the cosplay? Given you mentioned you don’t really use templates for your helmets, do you do the same thing for the rest of the costume?

No I haven't, I only make transformers helmets right now. The price would depend on what you want made.
