a little tip is that your suppose to use your finger to spread the glue around evenly, that alsoo makes no glue squeeze out the sides

Use a push stick for cutting wood 6 inches or less on the table saw, it's a lot safer and you will be more confident, they are pretty cheap also

That's cool I wish I could do that

You can also spray paint or sticker bomb the wood to add a little bit of flair

It would stick a lot better and longer if you used adhesive caulking instead of wood glue

Butter Toast Search up Broken Knuckle Fingerboards.. Really cheap amd good quality

If the saw blade comes down perfectly on the line then you have actually made the wood smaller than it should be... it's not like paper and scissors, when you cut with a saw blade you lose a gap with of the blade... that means if you're cutting a 1-inch piece of wood you want the outside of the line to be cut instead of directly on The Middle, because if so you will not have one in you will have 15/16 inch or so. Do you get what I mean? If not look up some pictures maybe that'll help.

if you cut the wood slightly smaller than the granite like an 8th or 1/4 of an inch and center it on the granite, it will look more like a modern public bench and will fit really good in a park

5 years later I’m sure your not even using these but how did the wood glue hold up with these materials?

btw you aren't supposed to cut wood with the table saw with your hands on either side of the blade
