I like how you're so real with it :) you don't focus on all the extra stationery/supplies hehe - just the basics to literally study

definitely! a lot of ppl think they need a lot of things to start studying when in reality, you just need the basics 👍
There’s also breakfast trays with little folding legs that could be good for studying on a bed/floor! Also they fold away easily when your done

I just want to take a moment to share my appreciation for you always including those who do without so many “essentials”. In other videos you also make it very well known that it’s ok if you don’t have these certain things if you can afford them or don’t have access. I appreciate you including people who may have financial issues.
c'mon you're so sweet. you're talking about like every possibility and situation and thinking about everyone 🥺😭❤️

Seo! I really appreciate the way your videos meet people where they are. Of course the study community has gotten flak in the past for being a little bougie/classist, and still is in a lot of ways, but you always keep it real and give great tips for people in All situations. Thank you for your grace and positivity!!

its so awesome of her that she includes many different options for each different condition people could be in!!!
love how she's realistic and considerate
Something that has helped me is creating a visual difference in my space when im working vs when im drawing, watching TV, playing games, or writing. I do this by using 2 different light bulbs depending on what im doing. I use a cool/white light when for everything and using a dimmer more yellow bulb when i am working or studying.

Cool lights will boost your concentration and focus. Warm lights will boost your creativity. :))
When she said, "You don't need watercolors, brush pens..." my little artist's heart was dying of shock until she said "to do your homework." xDDD I was so releived no one was calling me out for combining my study and artistic space.
i love this! it’s just what i needed since i have begun study preparation for the new year :)
7:26 I found this so so cute xd
I love this video and your channel in general! I just made a similar video about transforming my study space and was checking out other peoples videos about the same thing. I LOVE how you included alternatives & advice for those who don’t have access to a desk - I didn’t even think of that! I love your videos so much and can’t wait to watch more!! 🥰

due to small space, my desk is a white, wooden slate stacked on to two small storage cupboards, and it works pretty well 💫💫 as for noise, i just wear noise cancelling earbuds but no music playing

i love to keep things simple and constant. if my furniture is white, i always go with white. but, i add some decor points with pink and gray to not make my room look like a mental hospital LOL. even with my study desk, i put EVERYTHING in my desk drawer so that there's only my laptop, light, and book stand on the desk. BTW, buy a desk mat!! It gives an aesthetic color to your desk and could be used as a mouse pad too!
sEO YOUR HAIR IT'S SO PRETTY I LOVE IT

I badly need this! I just hauled a lot of staitionery and many notebooks are cluttered in my desk so this helped me sort things out XD.
Your short hair looks so good 🖤
I don't have a proper study space in my room at home so I've never really had to deal with this too much,,, but I'm going to uni this year so I'll finally have a proper desk and I'm so excited! this will be so useful :)
Yay this is so helpful💕 i specially agree with the natural sunlight 😍 it is refreshing to use it...
thanks for the advice! i have a tiny book shelf that i use as a desk which is away from my window :( so i get really jealous watching studytubers who have huge aesthetic desks with natural lighting haha! i think im going to switch to studying on the floor and laying a thin blanket/adding some pillows for comfort!

Your hair looks really preety. I really needed this type of video. Thanks alot. Love your channel🌻✉🧡
Another thing I would like to add is a proper organisational system. If you keep most of your books on your study table a good organisation system is essential as the last thing you want is your books getting lost. It is different for everyone, For me keeping them erect and in a file formation works best as I have a lot of small books that need to be taken out frequently. But if you have heavier books a normal piling up system would work. It is up to your personal preference. Tip:If your books get easily torn, try placing them with their binding facing down meaning when you open your bag the binding will be facing away from. This is applicable for any storage system ie that the weight of the book should be supported by the bind. This honestly saved my ass and write the subjects name on the opposite side of the bind. Your books will last much longer. Another tip: If you have siblings and you share a study space try wrapping your/siblings books in literally any paper. I use a greyish colour while my sister uses orange. This prevents mixing up. Even newspaper works (B and W newsprint has such an aesthetic look). I hope someone somewhere found this helpful.

I’m still obsessed with this editing!! 🥺🥺
This video is giving a major study space goals ❤️❤️
I love you so much Seo, thank you!
Another place to write on could be your kitchen table, if possible and if you don't mind your family around lol.
thank you so much for considering students who can't afford a smooth desk as a study space, seo. i am from a third world country and since 9th grade my study space is an ironing board, it's not much of an issue since i'm a consistent honor student. it was only until college i finally had the luxury to actually own a beautiful table thanks to my dorm! right now given the p*ndemic i'm back home, i'm using my good ole ironing board once again for my online classes rn! to every student pressured to live up the photogenic studygram life, i assure you you don't need to conform on everything you see in squares. a generic pen serves just the same as a zebra sarasa, a cheap highlighter does just fine just like a mildliner. no matter how much photogenic your study space you will and you will have to get down on the drudgery of actual studying and that's what matters. peace!
Just discovered this channel, love your energy!!
I don't have a desk. I just put my stuff on the bed and then sit on the floor 😅

This is the video that I didn't know I needed. I always lack motivation to study because my desk to too small for my liking. And now that I'm gonna be taking classes online my laptop is going to take a lot of space (almost half of my desk). But I don't want to ask my parents to buy a new one because I don't want to be ungrateful coz I don't need a new one, I just want one

desk space doesn't determine your motivation; only your mindset does!
I should get some plants on my desk as well! Being surrounded by my white desk and wall can always makes me daydream😭
im so not used to studying at home cuz i do my work at tutor so ur videos r rlly helpful :,)
Omg I thought I was crazy not liking the color of the light, hahaha. My lamp has a warm glow but I prefer the brighter more artificial light for reading and writing
just the video i needed
note you can get over the head headphones like the second pair she shows at 5 below for 5 dollars if thats in your budget they're pretty good at canceling out noise

be economical with what you keep on your desk surface + get creative with alternative organization methods! organizing vertically on or under your desk is oftentimes the most helpful.
