Super easy to understand. I like this tutorial so much. I really appreciate it and have subscribed to your YT channel. Thx Adriana. I have some questions below. Hope you could show to us. 1. How to get the progress %, is it any formula to get this value? Could you share the formula? 2. How to set it to auto-change color on the End date based on the Past Date or Due Soon? Is it any formula to set?

Hi Wyatt. Yes you can add a percentage complete to your Gantt Chart but you will first need to add it in manually as an addition column in your WBS.

Thank you, Adriana, this has been very helpful. Just one question: I can't do all you're showing us here on the 'online Excel' (I'm using SharePoint and need to have this stuff online). The issue starts at 1:55-there's no option in the online Excel. Thank you for advice.

You need to open the excel sheet in a desktop version to create it. Once created you can update it via the online version. SharePoint gives you both options to edit.

@@AdrianaGirdler thank you, I've done that-a nice Gantt Chart is ready! However, it seems that once uploading it into sharepoint, it turns only into a picture format which doesn't help a lot. any idea on this? if not, no worreis, it wa still a big help to make one GC offline. :)

Short answer….no. Wish it did. Some of the functionalities are not in Google Sheets.

I am not able to change my dates into numbers. Can you suggest something?

I was curious, so I looked it up A Gantt chart is a bar chart that illustrates a project schedule. It was designed and popularized by Henry Gantt by 1915 GANTT is not an acronym; it doesn't stand for anything, and I totally thought it did.

Can you add dependencies? ● start to finish ● finish to start ● start to start ● finish to finish How about other types of restraints? Resources calendar(s)?

This is a very basic version so you will not be able to add those items.

Everything is possible. What you are asking for needs a more developed spreadsheet/ software.
