How to Make a Fused Glass Quilt | Adding Patterns to Glass | Silkscreen, Confetti, Frit, Mica Powder
In this week's Fused Glass Friday video I'm creating a quilt pattern out of glass! Watch as I make different "fabrics" to use in the final project.
All glass is COE 96 compatible and fired using the auto settings in my Skutt kiln, unless otherwise stated.

This is such a cool project! Thank you so much!
Obviously I’m behind on watching this video. I am a quilter besides doing fused glass but it has taken a back seat since I have discovered fusing. You did a wonderful job honoring your grandma for the quilt she made you. Well done!
So cute!

I have a close friend that quilts. I’ll have to make her a glass quilt! Thanks for the inspiration.

Nice! I’m sure she’ll love it!
What is a partial firing?

Partially fired so it retains some texture opposed to fully fired where it’s totally smooth. I know it’s tack or contour fuse, but the studio where I work has always called it partial 🤷🏼♀️
