The Forest Hunter Covenant is fun, defending the grave from the legend of Artorias is a great honor, and even better when you do it against casul gankers lol. In this video i show an OP build anti-gank for forest hunters, also the best SL and WL for quick matchmaking so you can get summoned really constantly.
The build consists on a bit of fashion hunter with a hard hit weapon like flamberge (Claymore, zweihander, anything like that is good against gankers) with a pair of Shotels, because they are a quick secundary weapon and works pretty well with Tranquil walk of peace.

Since it is a covenant located in somewhere with non-linear level cap, it's hard to say what is the most common level here, however usually people come here for the artorias ring, which is generally after Ornstein and Smough (Which is arround SL 40-60, WL +10) Also the Cat covenant ring has a different matchmaking system in dark souls remastered.

The Best SL for forest hunter build is arround 60, and with a weapon level +15 you still can match with people weapon level +9, which is pretty OP lol, so a chaos +5 has pretty good damage against them with low stats requirements.
The Covenant does not offer anything good as reward, the random itens are quite garbage (Literrally sometimes), but it is fun destroy the gonkers, have fun lol.
