In this video we look at the classic Floating Fountain Illusion and deploy it on a planted tank. By using the flowing water of the magic faucet, we're able to keep all the plants in this "paludarium" design saturated with water. I made use of classic aquarium plants in this setup-anubias, java moss, java fern, and buce. Under the waterline I used Rotala Colorata and Ludwigia x Arcuata, both of which I got from LRB Aquatics.
This tank is a UNS 5N and you can find it here:

I knew you were using an Acrylic Tube. You can see it in the camera, but it is very subtle. Great job Sir. It looks fantastic. 😊👍

Awesome. I always liked this Illusion. When I was little my Grandpa had one in his basement that was a tap flowing into a beer mug. I was always super intrigued by it.

Adorable set up Alex. When I was younger building table top fountains, I had quite a few requests for this style of unit. Thanks Big Guy. 👍 How's the Mother tank doing? 😅tooth adds more character... 😉 Fishing For Cardinals site is great!!!

Very cool setup, Alex. Only downside is the tube will be visibly dirty fast.

it starts to get visibly dirty every 4-6 weeks. It's an easy fix though-very easy to clean the pipe, it takes less than 30 seconds!

Algae doesn’t show up too often, but when it does i just jam paper towel through the tube using a dowel and it’s all clean again!
