Let me try and explain my method, I first of all draw the height and depth of the bag, then add 2cm to the sides and bottom of the pattern (it’s upright so it’s a long rectangle)... Then I cut out a 2cm by 2cm tiny square from the bottom sides hence giving it the T-shape.

Most people call it KARI BOARD, its basically whats used for inside shoe soles.
