I used Lost PLA casting to make this Aluminum Dumpster and transformed it into a candle.
Жүктеу.....

Pretty sweet, if you cast it out of copper maybe you could give it a green patina and throw on a bronze ally cat or a ratt. Great video.

Haha that's awesome! As long as the candle isn't "burning trash" scented 😂

Your videos have helped me bridge the gap between 3d printing/modeling and metal. I’ve made forming die’s for my kickpress. Thanks!!

Put a patent on coal ash investment casting!? Making do with bountiful resources provided, nice. Unquestionably the classiest dumpster on the planet - another feather-in-your-cap masterpiece!

I use chamotte mixed grit and I believe you can use stucco also as your filler material for the slurry

What type of metal are chaplets made of for sculptures? Are they also silicon bronze? Thanks

Ideally they would be bronze. I bought brass pins to use then I found out they were brass plated steel. The steel oxidizes and is obviously a different color than the bronze so I put the pins in places that are easy to hide.

I am seeing a missed opportunity here, could have hid a little bronze racoon in the wax so as that when it burns away the trash panda is revealed...
