Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Need to bend sheet metal? Making one yourself is cheap & easy
Next episode we are tackling a new project that requires a metal brake, off the shelf machines are pricey and seem a little on the flimsy side, easier to make your own to suit!

Never seen a shed built angle grinder mill. That’s awesome

A Jig on rollers with some 3 axis adjustments built in would be a cool trick. Some hill billy, decking engine blocks with a grinder and some home made JuJu would break the internet.

The angle grinder trick is very clever. I’m happy to see that it worked well.
Ooooo.... A steel man AND a cruiser head! Outstanding!
Watched quite a few of metal brake build videos now and I reckon this one is about as clean and robust as I've seen. Bloody marvellous bit of work.
HOORAH!!! This is the first video I've seen that shows the clamp needs to be adjustable for the thickness of the metal being bent!!!! I discovered the necessity when making one using many other videos that didn't!
Thanks mate. Best metal brake build I’ve seen. I’m doing this on the weekend👍🍻
Mate that looks awsome! Excellent work
Super simple and practical.
nice build absolutely love your milling machine i will steal this. thanks for idea
That’s awesome. I need a new shed first!
Your sir, are a wizard. I'm surprised you don't have more views/likes/subscribers. These are top quality videos. Keep up the good work

Go for it mate! Been using it the last week and it definitely beats smashing metal over a vice 😂 Cheers 🤙
Im definitely subscribing to you now. That shed built milling machine idea was pure genius and exactly what I was looking for

@@Dibulok they are talking about running the grinder on the tube to get it flat
Very nice! 멋지십니다
Smart idea the mill.
I like voice over more than talking head.
Made one very similar but to stop the flex I used a second piece of angle to form a T.. will have to borrow the shop built milling machine idea that is genius
Very cool bro

Great video. What hinges did you use?
2 design problems truss is to high will deflect and your clamp downes being offset will give best to just drill through angle iron top and clamp there.
dude where are you? youtube sucks without you. why can’t we go back to what we used to be
Just a thought, rather than welding on 2 (4) halves of a washer because you ran out of thread, wouldn't it have been neater/quicker to run the threads down the bolt a little...?
Ha, you hang your grinders on the bench the same way I do 😀
what do you work as and keep pumping out the video's
Hey mate have you tried any aluminium. Or what's the thickest you've bent with this? Cheers very good job
Belt sander set on 45 degrees gives better edge then grinder
i like voiceovers ok becuase you can have production video in the background while you are providing narration. very difficult to rattle off commentary while you are cutting grinding and welding. I enjoyed this video.
Great video! Going to copy this for my shop. Do you have a link to the milling machine video? I can’t seem to find it but dang if I don’t need that one too!

Thanks mate! No sorry there is no video just a dodgy grinder setup running along a piece of scrap box 🤪
whats your thoughts on the unimig helmet? trying to decide what one to get
do you think you could give me a list of materials that you had to use to build this thanks

Looks like a few lengths of angle, some round stock, a few bolts washers and nuts, two springs, and most importantly some basic mechanical aptitude and a bit of ingenuity.
Круто👍🏻
What do you do for work?
Using too light of gauge/ small dimensional stock steel, but I like your surfacer rig for angle grinder. no way quarter" is worth the labor especially over 3' work width. but you can build it up with scrap
That is shit hot mate! Nice work

why are sheet metal brakes so damn expensive!???
What do you call the hinge pin you weld to the angle?
@mintbushfarm9953

im having trouble sourceing the hinge. can anypne help with what type of hinge.
@flyingfarm1

Do a search for a weldable bullet hinge. They are very common and relatively inexpensive.
Honestly, I can’t see anything. There’s no explanation of the hinges, where they are placed, and why they are placed there.

Horrible explanation of bend radius adjustment. Looked like and after thought. I'd say that is the most important feature and I could not follow "always want it flush"? Flush with what ? Why is the test sample flopping around during the adjustment? I'm glad he wallowed out his hole and then added those washers to make up for the mess but why not explain why and how so others could learn ?
I can see the flex with just the small peace not realistic to think it will bend nice 3 foot peaces built that way,
I go to one of two roofing wholesalers they have a brake that siders and roofers can use it for free
