That looks amazing. So well crafted. You are just a natural teacher. Your voice is so soothing and easy to listen to. Thank you very much for proving this tutorial. I’m definitely getting the pattern and can’t wait to make this.

Very, very beautiful hand cuff. A little bit thick to my taste, but it works well, i´m sure. I think i will buy the pattern. I was going to make a hand cuff with Labradorite stone inlay but i´m not sure it fits with this cuff. Perhaps i have to modify a little. Thank you for tutorial.

Would love too if offered a sponsorship by maker or distributer. Haven't had any interested sponsors for this item yet. Thanks for the suggestion.

Nice work. I really like the contrast between the border and the tooled area. Great idea to use the snap strap to adjust the fit. The outer seems a bit thick to me though. How well do you think the tooling would work on thinner leather? I might give it a try. I might also try pigskin for the liner. Seems like it would be softer against the skin.

Leather thickness can be adjusted to preference. If stamping the leather I wouldn't go lighter than 5 oz thick.

Thanks! It's a hard wax I buy from Japan that is used specifically for leather. It protects the edges and gives it a beautiful shine. It's called Columbus wax.

What is the name of the yellow tool you used to mark your half circles and where could a person find some thing like this? Thanks for the video, is your pattern for the bracelet for sale? Great work.

That was a circle cutter I used instead of a wing divider. A wing divider would have been a better tool for the purpose, but the circle cutter was closer at the time I was filming. I used the back end of the blade to mark a line rather than cutting the leather.

  • @FischerWorkshopsTaiwan

It's called Columbus wax (bought in Japan). It's harder than bees wax. Bees wax can help protect the edges, but won't give it a bright shine. A hard wax will protect and polish to a bright shine.
