In this video I show you How to make a Damascus Outdoor Knife out of Damasteel. The design was drawn by me, for the handle scales I used dyed buckeyeburl, which are held in place by titanium pivot screws. Enjoy watching the making of this beautiful Handmade Damasteel Knife.

Hahaha 🤣 Thank you ;)
Absolutely mesmerizing but in my opinion this blade is too thin for a bushcraft/outdoor knife or a hunting knife...I would see this more as a combat-multi purpose knife

@rvdKnives

Vielen Dank! Dafür braucht man Salzsäure.

Btw, can i ask what kind of paste you use at 10:40? do you just use the sandpaper as backing material for the paste? ive seen many makers use diamond paste with just a metall block. but when i tryed it my metall block was abrased to the point that i could not seem to keep it straigth.
@rvdKnives

@@stanislavstrecker7476 Its mothers metal polish. I use it on a paperstrip, which I wrap around the metal block. Its not voery abrasive, but with a bit of pressure, it gives a nice finish

@@rvdKnives The finish speaks for itself. Crisp lines and a perfect mirror, without getting those distortions/washed out lines. Truly outstanding. If you did not already try, i would recomment diamond paste, 1 micron should give a perfect mirror

@rvdKnives
