This is the best tutorial online. The instructions are clear, concise and repeated multiple times so you can't go wrong. My project is under construction but looks fabulous so far.

Scott, I have used your tutorial numerous times to make cornices for my home. So happy to have this single video version as opposed to the 3-part version. You are a wonderful instructor, very detailed but not complicated. I have researched how to make a cornice on other sites and in instruction books. None are as good as yours, not even close...

This is a great tutorial, and watching it helped me tremendously. I just finished a 10' wide cornice with contrast cording, and it turned out well. Thank you for this video!

I have watched this video several times, and successfully made two gorgeous, professional-looking cornice boxes. I viewed many You Tube videos on the subject, but this one was by far the most professional finish, and the easiest to follow. Thank you.

I ended up making five, two for the living room, two for the master bedroom and one for my husband's office. They look completely professional, and we have received lots of compliments on them. I could never have done it without Scott.

Scott, that was an amazing tutorial, thank you so much! I'm going to watch it again as I do my first cornice, pausing a lot, I'm sure! I have watched many youtubes on this subject, but yours is by far the best. I had to use earphones, only thing that I had trouble with was the volume, might have been on my end. Thanks so much!

What are the sizes and the gage of the staples for the wood construction of the cornice? And then for the actual upholstering of the cornice board? I'm a little confused.

Scott, wondering if no welting will be applied does the batting still get cut at the edge of the wood or do you roll it over the edge of the wood at the top and bottom?

What is the smallest return you can make on a cornice? I have a small window..I'd like to do a 2.5" return. Is this possible?

You would need to consider whether you'd have enough room to reach up and attach the brackets. It is possible, but 3" is more typical.
