This is a good one! All correct information. Resting the coffee for a day plus is excellent advice. These guys are obviously well experienced and know what they're talking about. Much more so than so many other videos. Production value may not be best but information is right on!

Has anyone compared the Yama and the Tiamo towers? Or does anyone have any recommendations between the two companies? Trying to decide which tower to get!
@baristaandrea6399

The difference is the similarity between them but i would suggest you get a Yama cause of the hard vessles it has. Tiamo is kinder delicate if not handled well
Just got the Yama Cold brewer and brewed my first Batch. The grounds in the coffee chamber(beaker) appear half wet, half dry. How do you achieve full saturation?

I think you dint put the filter paper on top of the grounds which helps in equal distribution of water to the grounds. Or evne the grind size, ground your coffee slightly larger than th v60 grind but not to reach the v60 grounds. Or still place 20gms of water in a small cup and after you have set ur apparatus ready to brew, hold the beaker and pour the 20gms first on top of the coffee grounds slowly and evenly on top of the filter paper the rest it for 40secs and after open ur tap. When u open ur tap make sure the drops fall in the centre on the filter paper and which each drop should fall after 2secs. Remember it brews for 12hrs but after 6hrs check and adjust ur tap cause there is a slight change in water density. Any other questions are welcome
Hey, great video! I'm curious about your measurements, it looks like you're doing about 190 grams of coffee to 3000 ml of ice water, is that correct?
@baristaandrea6399

Yes that is correct. The recipe is determined alot by the coffee ur using depending on its roast, density, flavours and the attributes your looking forward to get
Hello Sir, Greetings! I have only one question that I am not clear about it. Before starting the dropping from water tank, coffee should be bloomed (pre wet) or how is that process? Thanks in advance.
@baristaandrea6399
2 жыл бұрын
Hello Mr. Hussain remember this is oxidising coffee so in the min time blooming occurs when we reduce the gases using hot water on quick brews. Every time we make the cold brew we first release the water at a fast speed for 45sec and after reduce it to 1sec per drop to proceed with its brew time.
Is this cold brew or cold drip?
Can you please teach me how to make coffee

What's the best ratio for coldbrew bro
@baristaandrea6399

Truth is finding the best ratio is determined by the type of Coffee you are dealing with especially when it comes to the roast profile. But I will recommend a starters to be 1:12
