Update* I found personally that 12.5 LPM at 5 minutes is the sweet spot for me, also I don't use the cup or the extension I just let the gas come out

Great video, most of the others we have watched on this subject do not do near as well of a job explaining the process.

@@KeeperCain116 The supplies from the description arrived today. We successfully built and used it an hour ago. We were curious if you read the CO2 regulator to the bottom, center, or top of the ball? We read it at the center, but since we are using a smaller tub than you we noticed where we read the ball could potentially be the difference in being above the 30%-40% range that is suggested. Obviously it worked, just want to make sure we don't cause any undue suffering. Thanks again for the very helpful video!

Oh wow that is awesome you're the first person to reach out and tell me they went through with making it, that's a really good point I never thought about the spot on the ball I always measure from the center of it however I had said in the video that it come up to 9.6 LPM for me but after playing around with it 12.5 LPM for 5 minutes is what I currently use for my container, it's not a fun process figuring it out I personally don't enjoy euthanizing but to be honest you'll get a feel for it just by watching their reactions after doing it a handful of times that's how I come up with my measurements after using the math equation as a starting point

@@KeeperCain116 Ok that makes us feel better about how we read it then. We only did one rat this first time to test how effective it was and it started breathing hard for a couple minutes before going to sleep so we'll try a little lower for the next one. It definitely is not enjoyable to euthanize, but now that we have done it it is clearly less painful/stressful for the rat than feeding live. We appreciate you helping us out and we look forward to watching more of your content!

Thank you so much for the video! Ive been looking for hours and hours not knowing what this was called or what to search up or I couldn't find any informative videos until this one i came across! Thank you so soooo much! I have been so scared to feed my ball pythons larger rats and now with this system i will most definitely be 100% less worried about euthanizing the rodents beforehand. ! Great job! 👍🏼👌🏼🎉😊
