3/32" Aluminum TIG welding filler rod was used. If you aren't a welder, a t-shirt hanger will work fine.

If you measure the length of the wire after all the trimming, you'll find out that it is 6.061" exactly.

I just watched a video of a guy bending wire 😁 Not that it wasn't interesting, but couldn't you have at least balled the ends of the wire with a blast from the TIG torch? Also, how about a version that hangs from my neck and holds the phone near eye level for when there is no surface to set it on?

Private video for that?! 🤣 the least you could have done was butt weld together a couple 3/32 rods and bend that for your holder... you know, over complicate things, kinda like your aluminum ball or welding that entire pipe elbow.. just joking man, love watching your stuff.
