Its not KZread who is responsible for this. Channel owners add the recommendations. All any channel owner needs to do is add empty space for the recommendations at the end of the video. Personally I was too distracted by the dirty finger nails to continue watching this video.

If you're watching on your phone, just hold the video and drag it down slightly, like you're about to minimise it. You can bring it back up without lifting your finger, it should clear any recommendations and captions

Many years ago I had a small one of these which I bought from a joke shop. It was placed under or inside a book or in a box etc. so that when moved/opened it would fly out and surprise the victim 😁

@@sonofedis they used to exist all over. I’ve not personally seen one in 35+ years. I’m sure they still exist, but I haven’t seen/been to one since I was a little guy. But I’ve not really searched them out either.
This craftswoman is better than many Aeronautic engineer I have come across. She created something that actually flies.

Before I can agree with you, I'll have to see if she loses the Telemetry Data in the next five or ten years. But yes, the lunar lander appears to have been constructed with similar materials, plus some curtain rods and aluminum foil, etc.
This really feels like something that you'd find uploaded like a decade ago. Lovin the nostalgia

He finally finishes it just as the pics promoting the next videos come up to block most of the screen and as it flies it cuts to a commercial. The build was too long and the flight was too short.

Now you know what to do when bored and making a raid on the office supplies. Also possible fun for the freak-out it could cause. Just need to put that under a cup or book or something so it takes off at somebody's face when the item it's hidden under is moved.
Reminds me of a toy someone gave me when I was a kid. It was a bird that flapped it's wings on a very similar mechanism. Came from France

I remember those. My dad bought several of the ones that came from France. He loved paper airplanes and little flying machines like this.

what size rubber band did you use? I have a container of different sized rubber bands and wouldn’t know which one to use.

Yes. I use an elastic band with a diameter of 3.5cm. you can also use a 7cm diameter elastic band

if you use a wire that is both heavy and not strong enough, then the butterfly won't be able to fly

That’s neat! Thank you! I noticed that the simple things , like measuring lengths, are given a lot more time and it’s not fast forward in your video, while the more complicated parts, like end of the butterfly clip and the rubber band placement, video is played in a fast forward mode. Will definitely have to try.

@@123maximus9 I think that you need a certain size rubber band. The little ones are too hard to get on and you need something a bit larger but not too big. I think trial and error but I do wish that she had included the rubber band length.

It can fly, it's true, I just slowed it down so that you can see it better
We also used rubbber band and bamboo to create airplanes when we were kids. It was a lot of fun.

I recommend you build a jig as some call it, a small board full of holes made for pegs to fit in, to bend around with wire the pegs to make shapes rather than for larger projects harming your fingertips or however useful they are

I just 3D printed some of these! I keep putting them under random stuff and in magazines/books as pranks. The butterflies flip out when released.

great video i like it i have a little tipp for you TIPP: you can straighten wires by turning them hold one end with pliers and on the other end use a drill and turn them for like 5-10 rotations while pulling on it ;)

This is really good: just need a pair of needle-nose pliers and some office supplies! I wouldn't call it a "butterfly robot" though. For one thing, it's more like an automaton than a robot. And for another, the propeller makes it more like an airplane than a butterfly, which flies by *flapping* wings. Still a great craft project!
