Hi, I was having the same issue and here is how I was able to solve it. If you are on a mac, you need to use shift+command and click on the rectangle/page number and then hit delete. Afterwards you need to make page 2 into page one and to do that click on the three line menu near the pages, layers and libraries panel and uncheck “allow document pages to shuffle”. Next you will right click on page 2 and select “numbering & section options”. Select “start page numbering at” and input 1. Click ok, ignore indesign’s warning and click ok in the warning window. You should be good to go after that. Let me know if that helps and if you have any questions!

@@user-uo2vd6ne1w Its not showing "numbering and section options"
Very informative although you do move a bit fast...found myself pausing more than with other tutorials. It also isn't non-Mac friendly..but still there's a lot here!
While the tutorial is generally helpful, you really needed to go more into the "why" on many of your choices. For instance, WHY do we need to check "facing pages"? What does that even do?
