Wow you made that a ton of hard work for yourself... I make similar but more detailed ones and create 3 or 4 in the time it took you to make one.

I just bought a band saw. How do you go around the curves without having the blade bend? TIA

Ted is correct. The smaller the blade the smaller curves it can cut. I have a video on how to adjust the guides. This helps out a lot for blade tracking!

takes lots of practice. Scroll saws are way more forgiving on tight corners. They will bounce the wood up and down if you bind the blade. Band saw blades go in one direction so they just snap. Of course very few scroll saw could cut this and they are way slower. I just said that as many people jump from a scroll to band saw. Much easier to go the other way.
