No just make sure you and the customer is happy with the results doesn't matter how long it takes you especially when you're just starting and don't have most high end equipment. It typically takes me 6 hours for a full detail.

I did this during covid but we detailed cars in more upscale neighborhoods where everyone drove nicer cars like Mercedes, Lexus etc those kind of people who are able to afford $200+ we started out with a cheap kit from Amazon but eventually got a used powerwasher with the foam gun and much better interior products it used to takes us 3 hours to clean a suburban size vehicle but we'd do a high end type job we even had the whole carpet shampoo/vacuum . The guy in this video could've done a bit better for his prices bit who am I to say I myself couldn't charge like that and not at least do better on the exterior ....that's barely any soap on the car

@@jvee310_Honestly the prices are ridiculous. I got my car detailed by some “badass” “top of the line” detailer $500 detail and my car looked like it always does after I washed it lol. A couple months later I took it to some kid who did it in his parents driveway for $200 and my car came out nice. He even did a hand polish.

You are definitely a pro. I remember cleaning my dads cars from the business he ran and I only had 2 cloths, 1 rugged, a brush and a not so good vacuum. I remember it took me around 1.5hrs to do the whole car in n out, but as I just implied, I did try my best to work with what I have but you wouldn't see me getting on my knees to each little cravice and using a toothbrush and special soaps to each inch of the car, I assume that if I did it would have taken me well around 8hrs. And yet you did 2 cars FULL deep cleaning to the last detail as a brand new baby and only took you around 3hrs each. I take my hat off for you sir.

Can you make a video on a list of products/tools you use? I’m looking to start detailing my own cars and once I get good enough I’ll see about doing it for friends/family but I don’t really know what to get. I see upholstery cleaners ranging from $650-$2400 and I’m not sure what features are really needed or not and I’d like the opinions of people that do this for a living to give recommendations on tools like brushes(didn’t think I’d need them but I can see why they’re useful) before I really get in to this. Some things I’d like to know are which upholstery cleaners/features I should consider. Pressure washer nozzles, pressure washers. brushes/scrubbers that won’t harm paint/finish. Solutions for cleaning inside and out (what is a paint decontamination? I’ll look this up later). I’m not just asking for the answers to everything, I’ll be putting in time to research on my own but since I’m just now starting to look in to this, I’m a little lost and would like to know a benchmark to start really comparing stuff to and to learn from professional’s experiences for what they’ve encountered and wish they knew earlier. Thank you all in advance for your consideration and for taking the time to read this and for answering any questions I’ve presented.

In my case, do interiors starting on the passenger front side moving my way around until I get to the drivers side, by the time I’m at the drivers side im pretty much done. It’s good to set up a system to be faster and more efficient. Always working with excellence.

But that $824 didn't take the expenses out - like the products, the equipment. Your take home for the day was? I'm going to guess $500 or so, and that has to be spread out to cover days when you don't have this kind of clientele.

Compete wash, seal and interior in for hours by yourself. Dude, you are flat running. No way you could charge those prices in my area. Your calendar would look like a blank sheet of paper.

I could buy a cheap car for that much 😂 im really glad some people are willing to spend so much money in a car detail 😅 I could never justify that even if i was rich AF

You're the type of guy to buy dish soap and hair conditioner at the dollar store and use it for laundry. Can't justify washing your clothes with real laundry detergent...costs to much... 🤭🤣🤣🤣😆

Bro ur so lucky you can wash cars in the daytime. If I wash my car while the sun is out the. The soap immediately dries on the car and is. Early impossible to get off, so I have to wait till the sun goes over the horizon and then I gotta wash my car in 30 minutes which is a pain

That is $522 US dollars minus your gas and expenses then taxes. So technically you did around $300 US dollars which is not bad

@@PolishedMobileDetailing503I am not sure about it. It depends on the quality of soap and cleaning sprays. Also it depends on how dirty is your car.
