Something else to avoid would be wash the car directly in the sun (especially in summer !). It should be washed in a shady place.

Hey 👋 Mate cheers on the vids lately absolute sensational job keep it up 10/10 🙌
I’m like yeah yeah I know all this. Then I realise I don’t clean my equipment nearly as thoroughly as you, so that’s a great tip. All about never using a fully dry microfibre. Cheers for the post.
Not only do I inspect my MF towels for debris, but when washing I separate my towels further into 3 categories: (A) Used for Body (generally cleanest), (B) Lower Panel/Undercarriage/Bumpers (second dirtiest), and (C) Tires (Dirtiest). The first two groups can be “safely’ washed together as long as a do a thorough pre-rinse of group (B). Group (C) will always be pre-rinsed and always washed separately, and oftentimes I only reuse Group C only a few times since tire towels gets so caked on with tar/oil, may not even be worth the effort. I will oftentimes take older towels in Group A-B and retire them to C. And that’s my towel management system.

I use a microfiber to dry my car and because I'm lazy I just wipe down all windows first, that gets the microfiber wet enough and doesn't scratch the paint.
I love #10! Bust my husband on this one all the time!😮

5:03 Yes, that's typical at the gas station. Not only as a matter of dirt, but even more to avoid scratches on the body when the hose slides over the paint. If you are not careful when vacuuming, you quickly have scratches on the body. I always try to hold the hose up with one hand so that it doesn't touch the bodywork.

Another useful tip. Use the 2 bucket wash technique to wash your car. One with soapy water and the other to rinse your microfiber glove after using same on the car.

2 bucket is not needed just use foam then rinse with pressure washer, then do contact wash with 5 chenille mitts. Literally no reason to have any buckets.
Hi Tino, love ur videos. How powerful is your bosch blower? Is this the wireless 36v model ? Thx

Cool tip for water spots: use “Owner’s Pride Eco Wash” for car washing as it is a water softener and will not harden on the vehicles paint. I also use only a cap full for a 5 gallon bucket, I just replaced my first 16oz bottle of it after 6 months of professional detailing.

We love this job
True story..this happened years ago. We had a guy come into our body shop wondering if we could buff out his car. When I went out to take a look I was stupefied how bad it looked. I asked him what happened. He said he had waxed his whole car but it started raining so he thought he’d finish later. Needless to say his paint was destroyed. Never wash/wax your car in direct sunlight and work in small areas before you move onto the next.
Great video Tina !

Keeping that vaccum pipe between legs is really of matter. I noticed that while snowing and all the snow with salt gets into your car plus scratches . That really helps keeping that pipe between legs specially is it is from an outside gas station aspirator

@🇲🇦Hello Everyone Depends on the colour. If it’s a dark coloured car like black it’s better to use a water purify as you may get spots when it dries. If it’s light coloured then your method is fine.

@@TinoCarCare Another good tip is to have two buckets for cleaning. One bucket has the cleaning solution and the second has only water and nothing else. When the cleaning cloth becomes saturated with the dirt that you're cleaning off the car you simply rinse it in the bucket that contains only water thus the dirt and cleaning solution in the cloth will be removed from the cloth and deposited in the bucket with straight water rather than the bucket with the cleaning solution. Then squeeze the water from the cloth and re-apply the cleaning solution to the cloth and continue. This way your bucket with the cleaning solution will not be as contaminated by the dirt you're removing from the car. This method works really well for any cleaning job that requires the removal of a lot of dirt and contamination.

If i drop a wash mit, is there something else i can use it for without just throwing it away?
@TinoCarCare
Ай бұрын
Before throwing it away I would recommend giving it a good pressure wash, if that doesn't work, then a machine wash. If you still think its time to get rid of it then you can use it for dirtier parts of the car, such as the engine bay or even dirty things around the garage/home
hey what pressure washer do you use?
Great tips, thanks!!

Hello Tino, Which cameras you use for filming?
All great tips. I use a leaf blower to dry the car. Don’t use one that you use for your yard. If I use detail spray, I use a brand new microfiber cloth every time and only use back and forth wiping, nothing circular.
Very entertaining!

Useful Hi tino how r u?
How you finding customers during winter ? Has it slowed down a bit ?
If you did drop the wash mitt and you only owned 1 or only owned 2, what would be your strategy? Woiuld pressure washing it off thorougly work, or would you need a proper wash?
@benjamingeoffrey9051

You can wash it if your in a pinch, this is just best practice. Optimal to turn it to a tire/wheel mitt if you can.
Another YT detailing "expert" recommends you put the vacuum hose over your shoulder to prevent it from touching the body. I think it helps, but the hose slips off, and you need a longer hose.
Great ideas.

Great advice, thanks Tino.
I couldn't figure out why those water spots kept appearing on my car after hosing it down. It only seemed tp be appearing in some spots and I assumed something was wrong with the water, since the water was foaming white for some reason when it touched the surface. I would then just use a paper towel or rag to wipe it off, then squeegee the windows. Thanks for setting me straight on that.
