Kontrol thank you for all the tips and tricks, I wanted to ask you, I started my channel in september of 2023 and I produce multiple genres of music from ambient electronic/future garage, to LoFi soul, and Hiphop/R&B beats...do you think I should separate my HipHop beats to a secondary channel or is it fine keeping it on my channel with the other genres of music that I produce? could i revive an old account or is it better to start a new one? growth on it was unpredictable but i managed to get 100+ subs

I feel like you keep giving the same advice no matter the price range. Can you give us some variety on how to reach out to artist? ( like the proper way to text and send out emails). Just to give some clarity on these subjects.

When you offer 5more beat for $50 is it they who choose that 5beat or you. Who give them option of beat to choose from

​Hey​@@Octonthabeat You did not answer any of my questions, BMI is a PRO they dont protect beats, infact they dont even accept audio files, BMI only deal with data on splits and variouse royalties. 2. Copying people beats, your so negative, infact stay out of this am seeking information from real people. My questions are positive and valid. Any beat maker wpuld like to know how other beat makers who are more experience protect beats. Am recently learning about content id but i realise my channel is not eligible as i recently started. Also If you were a good business man and producer in the beat community, you would understand my question but clearly you dont know. So my question is still open to Kontrol or any other producers who may consider to share some insight.

“Technically” it is just proof you had it first so it helps build your case + the original files. Why it’s always good to export wav mp3 and stems when it is done and backing up on drives.

But can you sell a beat multiple time?

If yoh sell a beat, you are not the owner anymore so you cant make money with adsense. Right?

If the exclusive is sold you’re not the owner. If it was leased, you are still the owner.
