    Those cold air intake filters could need a coat of oil on them (k/n filters require that, if you dont oil it before install u are potentially destroying the engine)

    Thanks for the comment. I appreciate the heads up, but AFE pre oils these filters do unless I clean I should be all good

    Have you trued Rockauto yo source your OEM filters? Probably best I have found for oem fuel filter set fotlr my 17 F350. Shipping and return process is seemless.

    Are you still running AR9100… I’ve seen some forums talking about AR9100 in modern diesel applications with DPF’s might leave sulfated ash behind possibly decreasing the life of your DPF due to filling with ash (which doesn’t burn off during regens and accumulates over time)??

    I am not. Not because of any ash, but because I didn’t detect any decrease in wear when running it with Amsoil. How did the forum people find that out? Did they cut open a DPF?

    @@powerstrokemaintenance I’m not to sure to be honest. I believe they contacted Archoil themselves and due to Archoil having high levels of boron, that’s what leaves traces of sulfates ash behind

    Interesting. That would make sense because I do see high levels of boron and potassium when I used it. However I didn’t notice any increase in regen frequency when I used the product
